I have a few trees that I love and the Lilac is one of them. The flowers are my favorite color (purple) and the smell is unbelievable. I wish I took photos of my Lilac tree when we first moved here 8 years ago. It was basically dead. No beautiful flowers. I took good care of it for two years and now it produces gorgeous, fragrant flowers again. This year I will be harvesting the flowers and making a fragrance. I've done this in the past and it's a beautiful way to cherish the the fragrance all year long. Keep your eye out...if I have enough I will be making it available for purchase.
